Mushroom Festival Photo Competition

We now have the winners for the 2010 Trosachs Mushroom Competition. With over 90 images uploaded, the judges had a tough time to decide the winners as the quality of the entries was extremely high this year. However, we have 3 winners as follows:

Best Childrens Image goes to:

Poppy Smith age 12 years from Aberfoyle. Poppy wins £50

Best Adults Image goes to:

Mr Sergey Gordeyev from Glasgow. Mr Gordeyev wins a 2 day break in the Trossachs with photography tuition 

Runner prize in Adults Category goes to:

Helen Smith from Aberfoyle. Mrs Smith wins 2 Go Ape tickets

Iif you have a camera this is the time to get into the woods and forests and get snapping. We have some great prizes for the winners and these will be announced at the Grand Opening Night of the festival on 21st October at the Forth Inn Aberfoyle. All entries should reach us before the 17th October to let the judges do their stuff. Remember to handle mushrooms safely and a reminder of the Scottish Mushroom Code is HERE

Mushrooms are abundant at the moment so head for the forest and get snapping, you could be one of the lucky winners!!

Once you have got your image just send it to us by e-mail (max 3 images per person), no need to print it out as all judging and viewing will be done on-line. Send your images to:
